The HTC Droid Incredible 2 launched on Verizon Wireless yesterday for a direct at a price of $ 199 with a two-year contract – but if you're eying the latest Verizon Android phone, you can nab one for about half that price.

Amazon and LetsTalk.com are each offering incredible the droid 2 for $ 99 with a new two-year contract at the time of checkout.  This price applies to new accounts only Verizon Wireless; If you are already a customer of Verizon and are eligible for an upgrade, the price of each dealer jumps to $ 149, $ 50 less than the price of Verizon Wireless.

On Thursday, Verizon Wireless will begin HTC Droid Incredible 2, the successor to the popular Droid incredible which was published in April 2010.

The droid incredible 2 ADR6350 has little resemblance to the original, with a different body style and significant hardware changes.  There is no dual-core processor within 2 incredible, even if it is characterized by a next generation processor Snapdragon.  Other changes include a larger 4-inch touchscreen LCD Super, a 50% bump in RAM, 15 GB of on-board flash memory, 802. 11n Wi-Fi, 720 p HD video recording using his camera 8MP, a 1. .3MP front camera for video chat and global roaming capabilities.
