speed problems. This guide will walk you through several tips to keep

registry tweaks, always backup in case something goes wrong.

1. turn off the animating Windows menu
Switching
eye candy animation holds off as the handheld zippy. To do so,
You will need a registry editor such as PHM RegEdit to edit the registry.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEMGWEMenu, then change the value
"anitype" (default) to 0. This will disable menu animation.
If this is a daunting task, an easy alternative is RegKing. This nifty freeware lets you enable or disable menu animation easily and provides other tweaks.
2. increase cache view
Another
Tip for speeding up the display is to increase the value of the glyph cache.
However, this will take more system memory. Launch the registry
editor and browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMGDIGLYPHCACHE. Change
the value of "limit" from 8192 (the default) to 32768 16384 or even.
If the interference of the registry is nerve-racking for you RegKing get this done in a few touches.

Uninstalling programs.
5. Relocate large memory card file
Instead
to keep the data intensive space in main memory, move these files
storage cards instead. A quick way to identify files that occupy the
space is via WIMR.
Afterwards, only using File Explorer, cut and paste to
move files out of main memory. Make sure that these are rather data file
executables or you may break programs.
6. install programs on external storage
If
you need a host of software on your Pocket PC, there is no way all
they can be installed on your main memory. When possible, choose to
install programs on a flash memory card or even non-volatile memory
as iPAQ File Store. This frees memory for the main stroke
programs.
7. remove any redundant files and folders
As

a bad job leaving orphaned files and folders. Delisted
using File Explorer.

uninstalled but still lurk in the registry. This will not do a good job
by Remover and Pocket mechanic, but should be sufficient.
8. overclocking
